During the development phase of the organization, YDDC's professional staff is unpaid, consisting of only volunteers. YDDC is working toward developing a full time professional staff dedicated to the successful implementation of YDDC’s programmatic goals.​
Is my donation tax deductible

​Young Doctors DC is a​ non-profit organization exempt from federal income taxation under IRS 501(c)(3). Donations are tax-deductible for United States citizens. For donors outside of the United States, please consult with your tax adviser to determine whether your donation is tax-deductible.
Does YDDC issue tax receipts? ​​
Yes, you will receive a charitable tax receipt for income tax purposes. The tax receipt is sent to you as an e-mail attachment to avoid administrative and mailing costs. However, if you would prefer that a receipt be mailed to you, this request can be accommodated.
When can I expect my receipt? ​
You will receive your tax receipt immediately upon DC Social Innovation's receipt of your donation.
Can I make a donation on the phone if I don't want to donate online?
Yes, but we do urge you to take advantage of the convenience and security of giving online. You may call us at 415-496-9332 if you would like to donate by credit card via phone.
