mission
We empower young men to make their lives, their families, and their neighborhoods healthier.
We inspire young men to be the doctors, researchers, and medical professionals of the community tomorrow.

We train young men in Southeast Washington, D.C. to solve the pressing health challenges of the community today.
goals
The goals of Young Doctors DC are five-fold and include:

-
Addressing health disparities confronted by Southeast residents,
-
Developing the awareness and capacity of youth to address local health issues,
-
Supporting the academic and social development of youth,
-
Improving their chances of attending and excelling in college, and
-
Introducing underrepresented groups to careers in health sciences.
